kim - That is hysterical, the poke your eye out thing is funny! And btw your son does look like a little Brad Pitt! He is adorable! Beautiful picture of him. The tree is amazing. Definitely ginormous. Thanks for the laugh.

Andrea - That tree is gigantic! – or as you would say ginormous! Audra, these are super pictures – you should submit some to the city or whoever maintains it – there you go again Audra – more magazine material! You are good at going after what you hiking the trail in honor of your Mother, having a beautiful family and now a business doing exactly what you love! This quote reminds me of you:
“Do not be afraid to go out on a limb … That’s where the fruit is.”

if these walls could speak

the boxes are piling up, we are moving and though we are moving eight houses down, it is still moving and piling our things, our special things. in that pile are memories. i am totally sappy when it comes down to it, really deep in many ways, if you met me you would say, “that […]

Andrea - sniff sniff..cold chills and more cold chills…what a sweet tribute to your beautiful home. We had some really great times there – I will never forget the cookouts, the playdates, lunch at your kitchen table, the long talks and birthday parties – Your house will always be a home no matter where you go Audra – You make it that way without even trying.

audra - ed….i forgot….i don’t use any filters! i know, i should, especially at the beach, but i don’t own one. it is on the list when i can get some play money, but first is the 70-200mm. i will be saving, and saving, and saving.

audra - hi ed. thanks for the comment and questions. the comments on the blog make my whole day, really my whole month. i am totally new at this photography gig, self teaching and still learning big time and i would imagine for my lifetime. i use a canon 5d, which i am in love with and for this shot i was using my 24 mm/2.8 wide angle lens, which i have found works really well, is very clear and also does not distort the edges too badly (although just a tad) and also is very good about not distorting facial features, my fav thing. i use my 50 mm/1.2 98% of the time while shooting, and in all my dreams. love it big time. ๐Ÿ™‚

Andrea - Audra, These are ALL top notch – Jeremiah is gorgeous (but I already knew that because I am one PROUD AUNT SISSY). I see the love in all their faces and it brought happy tears to my eyes. Each picture of this family is perfect. The ones of Terri and Killian made it even more special. And Jeremiah, well, he just steals my heart. Just like his Mommy did when she was a baby. Thank you Audra for capturing the beauty of my sister and her family. I know Jennifer and Josh will be so pleased!
